Psalms 46:10 says, "He says, Be still, and know that I am God.” (NIV)
Sometimes things don’t always go the way that we want them to, and we may try our own way of doing things, or sometimes we’re even impatient for something to happen. But the Lord tells us to be still, and to know that He alone is God. He alone will make things happen, not the way we want, but in accordance to His good and perfect will.
So use this as a reminder to yourself and to others, to just be still, and wait on the Lord. And remember that whatever is the best outcome that you can think of, His way will be even better, because your ceiling, is God’s floor.
So be still and wait on the Lord!
